Safety and hygiene in food production This network concerned with education of Ph.D. students and young researchers is financed by NorFa and has participants from most NORDTEK and NOVA universities in the Nordic countries. The aim of the network is to stimulate cooperation and coordination of research in the field of safety and hygiene in food production. Two workshops on general aspects of hygienic problems have been held in 1999. The work performed in the participating research groups is divided in two areas “Microbial hygiene in industrial food production” and “Hygienic design including optimal cleaning procedures”.
