The aim of the project is to examine, if the required technology for a GPS-based Intelligent Road Pricing System is present for implementing such a system in Denmark in the nearest future. Based on several trials, that will be carried out by CTT with equipment provided by Siemens, the performance and reliability of such a system will be tested and analyzed with regards to possible implementation as a charging system in densely built-up urban areas.
