An experiment allowing taxi's to use bus lanes at certain locations in Copenhagen was carried out from July to December 1998. The project has evaluated the effects of this, mainly in terms of possible adverse effects for the bus operations. Methods include travel time studies, accident study and traffic counts before and after. Also, interviews with bus and taxi drivers and video recordings of bus-taxi interference have been included. Project report has been printed by City of Copenhagen, Road and Park Dept. July 1999.
