As a part of a sustainable development for the freshwater resources catchment and utilization of rainwater may be an attractive supplement to the conventional freshwater supply. Together with students several investigations have been made, focusing on the design of rainwater utilization systems, the water quality of the catched rainwater and the economical consequences.
