This project is a long-term activity concerned with the development of design methods and circuit configurations useful for analog and mixed analog/digital integrated circuits. It is funded primarily through the ordinary DTU budget, including permanent staff, Ph.D. students and postdoctoral research fellows with DTU scholarships. The project is covering different areas. Since 1990 much attention has been given to current mode circuits and signal processing. The activities concerning current mode techniques were reported in 1999 in a dr.techn. dissertation. The dissertation was succesfully defended in 2000. Another important area of research is architectures and circuit configurations for data converters. The main application areas are intelligent transducers and mobile communications.
