M.Sc. in Engineering, Physics and Technology from University of Southern Denmark  with specialization in growth and characterization of ultrathin films of insulators, semiconductors and metals on silicon (2001-2006). M.Sc. Thesis supervisor: Prof. Per Morgen.

 

Ph.D. in photonics engineering at DTU Fotonik (2006-2009). Project title: “Terahertz spectroscopy applied to food model systems”. Supervisors: Prof. Peter Uhd Jepsen (DTU Fotonik) and Dr. Jacob Riis Folkenberg (FOSS A/S). Guest Ph.D. Student in 4 months in 2008 in the group of Prof. Koichiro Tanaka at Kyoto University, Japan.

 

Postdoc in the Fiber Sensors & Supercontinuum-group led by Prof. Ole Bang working on spectral blueshift and noise characterization of supercontinuum generation in tapered photonic crystal fibers (2010-2011).

 

Researcher in the Fiber Sensors & Supercontinuum-group working on mid-infrared supercontinuum generation in various soft glass fibers (2012->) for (i) early stage cancer detection as part of the EU Framework 7 projekt MINERVA ( http://minerva-project.eu/ ) and (ii)  food quality inspection as part of the HTF project Light & Food.
