Expertise

The main part of the research is covered by the heading: Electrochemical Energy Conversion. Over the years it has changed from molten carbonate fuel cells over secondary lithium and sodium batteries to solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC).

At present, the main focus is on the thermodynamics of non-stoichiometric oxides as electrode and electrolyte materials in SOFC, the kinetics of electrode processes and high temperature AFM investigations.
