I am PhD student, working with transmission of antimicrobial resistance in the food chain, especially the effect on human health connected to the usage of antimicrobials in Danish pig farms.

Data collected in the PhD should result in a quantitative antimicrobial risk assessment, describing the dose-response relationship among the use of antimicrobials and the consequences on human health. Also assisting in the production of the DANMAP report, based on the Danish surveillance of antimicrobial usage and occurrence of resistance.

Scientific assistant on the TRAINAU research programme on risk assessment in nonhuman antimicrobial usage, and MedVetNet an international network of excellence in the field of food safety and human health.
