Associate Professor at DTU Environment and NanoDTU at the Technical University of Denmark. Has a Master Degree in Technological and Socio-Economic Planning from Roskilde University and a Ph.D. from DTU. Conducts research into risk analysis and governance of nanotechnologies and materials, and the applicability of decision-making tools under scientific uncertainty. Teaches courses in 1) Nanotechnology and the Environment and 2) Environmental Management and Ethics and has guest-lectured at Roskilde University , University of Massachusetts , Lowell, Northeastern University , and Harvard University. Has several scientific publications and conference presentations and is actively involved in the Decision Uncertainty Analysis Workgroup of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry.
