My research is within exact solution methods for hard combinatorial problems. This involves methods such as dynamic programming, branch-and-cut and column generation algorithms in any way they can be combined to construct a computational efficient solution approach. I am mainly solving routing and network design problems.

In 2009-2010 I was the primary investigator on the project "Optimizing Transportation, Planning, and Scheduling Problems using Decomposition Techniques". Project 274-08-0353 funded by the Danish Research Council for Technology and Production Sciences (FTP) part of the Danish Councils for Independent Research.
