Does research in geometric analysis, ranging from combinatorial analysis on finite metric spaces to
Riemannian geometry. A particular focus is on measure theoretic metric invariants, such as e.g. the mean distance of a geometric object, and the relation to classical geometric concepts such as curvature and symmetry. The measure theoretic invariants, which are being studied, can hopefully turn out to be effecient geometric descriptors of significance within theoretical geometry as well as applications.
