Co-inventor of more than 40 issued or pending US patents protecting more than 10 FDA cleared products and forming the basis of seven new companies.


Joined DTU Nanotech as Professor in 2008 and was appointed Professor in Nanotechnology and Innovation at DTU in 2011. Has the day-to-day innovation responsibility at DTU Nanotech (since 2008).


Recipient of the DTU Innovation Prize 2012. Elected member of the Danish Academy of Natural Sciences and the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV).
