Peter Fantke is assistant professor in quantitative sustainability assessment with research experience in assessing environmental fate, human and ecosystem exposure, and toxicological impacts of chemicals. He contributed to several national and international projects focusing on life cycle impact assessment, external cost analysis, socioeconomic analysis, environmental risk assessment, and chemical substitution. He is executive manager of USEtox, the scientific consensus model for characterizing toxicity impacts of chemicals. He contributes to training at MSc and PhD level, organizes international training workshops, initiated and coordinates internal training in his research division, and coordinates a global task force on integrating health effects from exposure to fine particulate matter into life cycle impact assessment
