Development of guidelines for risk-acceptance criteria in relation to land-use planning near major hazard industries
Development of tools and principles for safety-barrier diagram analysis, e.g. for hydrogen system safety analysis
Project manager of the Dan-WORM project: transferring the Occupational Risk Model to Denmark and small enterprises, supported by the
Danish ArbejdsMiljøForskningsFond (2006-2009) .
Evaluation of safety reports in co-operation with Danish authorities.

EC Phare Twinning on implementation of  "Seveso-II" in Bulgary

Work package coordinator in the EU-co-ordinated action SHAPERISK concerning “Improving the efficiency of the organisational management with regard to safety, health and environment” (2004-2006)
Courses on implementation of the Seveso-II Directive in future EU-member states.
Development of safety management indicators in the CEC supported project “ARAMIS” (2002-2005)
Safety assessment of alternative fuel systems in fuel-cell driven vehicles (2002-2005)

Responsible for the wind-tunnel modelling technique during the Hong Kong Alternative Replacement Airport Sites (ARAS)-Meteorological Study.
Responsible for the air quality modelling during the Hong Kong Port & Airport Development Strategy (PADS)-Air Quality Study.
Responsible for the wind-tunnel modelling study for the Hong Kong. North Lantau Development Study
Responsible for the co-ordination of the following CEC international projects:
- MTH physical modelling of jet fires (1988-1991)
- STEP Jet fire interactions with vessels containing flammable liquids (JIVE) (1991-1994)
