Michael Engelbrecht Nielsen. Born, March 16, 1966.

Main research focus is on Food, Immuno-toxicology & Immunology – understanding physiological and immunological mechanisms during development and response of cells and whole animals, using a fish models. With research expertise within immunology and physiology we are developing and implementing a zebrafish model to study adverse toxicological effects on the innate immune system.
