Fields of interest: Has throughout the years focused on finite element modelling including non-linear material and geometrically properties. Has previous worked with non-linear buckling and collapse of shell structures relevant for crashworthiness applications as well as tensile instabilities simulations used in necking predictions during hydroforming and strain gradient dependent plasticity models. Are currently working with kink-band formation in composites with focus on sustainable energy applications, experimental characterisation and numerical finite element simulation of composite materials and test samples and commercial work on mechanical characterization of polymers.The finite element simulations has in the latest years been focused around the commercial FE-code: Abaqus together with userdefined subroutines.
