In this project the kinetics of crystallization processes are modelled and used within a generic modelling framework. This modelling approach allows insight into the kinetics of crystallization and process understanding. An efficient use of the models within the framework can be used for process analysis and improved process design and operation. Crystallization is a separation technique that can be applied to multiple processes and production lines and an improved understanding may lead to greater application in the chemical engineering field.
