Expertise

Basic activities: Development and validation of analytical methods, coordination, planning and implementation of research projects and control campaigns. Expertise: Has obtained a broad experience in the analysis of pesticides and persistent organic contaminants in foods. Has since 1990 mainly been engaged in risk assessment and migration testing of food contact materials (FCM). Advisory activities for the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration: Technical questions related to development of the common European legislation and the safety aspect of specific substances used in FCM

International experience

EU-Commission activities related to the technical parts of the current FCM legislation. Danish representative in the European Network of FCM Reference Laboratories.
