Studier af hvorledes membraneproteiners funktion reguleres af cellemembranenens lipidsammensætning.  Special fokus på hvorledes proteiner reguleres af de elastiske egenskaber af cellemembranens lipidbilag, idet der anvendes en gramicidin-baseret enkelt-molekyle kraftmåler.
