Jacob Møller is senior researcher in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of waste management systems. His areas of expertise are modeling and conducting LCA’s of waste management systems with special emphasis on household waste including the organic waste fraction. Jacob Møller is MSc. and Ph.D. in microbiology, but in the last 10 years his research has been on waste management systems. The work include detailed modelling of waste composition, source separation, recycling of material fractions in the waste as well as modelling a number of waste treatment technologies, e.g. anaerobic digestion plants, composting facilities and incinerators. Besides scientific papers he has published a number of LCA reports for public authorities and waste management companies.
