Professor Henrik Georg Bohr is Head of the Quantum Protein (QuP) Center, a DG and EU Centre of Excellence.

Molecular biophysics is the primary area of research at QuP. In particular. The calculation of electronic structures and electronic and vibrational spectroscopy of large biomolecules in both their native and non-native (denaturing) environments. This includes quantum physics, advanced mathematics and molecular orbital and density functional theory.
