 Associate Professor working with xenobiotic organic compounds present in urban waters. M.Sc. in Chemistry, PhD in Applied Environmental Science and Engineering. Works with substance flow analyses, mass balances, and source identification in order to follow the flow of substances in the urban environment. Subsequently, performs hazard identification, occasionally toxicity tests as well as risk assessment of the substances in order to assess their environmental effects. Additionally, look at the potential and problems related to non-potable water reuse (primarily greywater and stormwater) in urban areas and sludge utilization in a sustainable manor.
