I have a M.Sc. in food engineer specialised in food quality from the Szent István University, Hungary and a Dr. Scient. in Food Science from the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. I have been previously employed as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary.

Main research is dedicated to the trace element research, focusing on speciation analysis in biological matrices (e.g. foodstuffs, food supplements, water samples, enriched plant tissues). Main activities highlight the development of chromatographic separation techniques for the selective determination of selenium (Se) species using TO-UV-HG-AFS and ICP-Q-MS detections.

My current research focuses upon the development of chromatographic separation of sulfur and selenium species most often present in plant tissues. In the frame of ORGTRACE project I analyses the possible effect of different cultivation systems on the absorption of sulfur and selenium by several crops species.
