Davide Tonini is a Post doc at DTU, Department of Environmental Engineering. He completed his PhD in 2013 with a thesis titled: "Environmental assessment of energy production from waste and biomass". His research field is environmental assessment of waste and bioenergy systems with focus on three main aspects: 1) energy recovery from biomass and waste, 2) competition between biomass and feed, and related land-use changes, 3) optimization of waste and bioenergy management systems. His research includes large use of modelling tools such as life-cycle assessment and material, substance, energy flow analysis.
