Deputy director of NanoDTU.

NanoDTU is a cross departemental center for all nanotechnology researchers of DTU. The aim is to create a synergy between the researchers within nanotechnology. NanoDTU also represents the research of DTU within nanotechnology to a wider audience, along with creating contacts between research and industry.

Research in Gold catalysis

Gold nanoparticles are an example of nanotechnology. Ordinarily, gold is chemically inert. But gold particles smaller than 3 nm are very reactive. We do computer simulations to understand the mechanism behind this effect.
