My research is primarily focused on developing biophysical models based on molecular and cellular problems within neuroscience and physiology. The computational implementations of such models are validated by Raman spectroscopic experiments (here at the institute) as well as electrophysiological experiments (in collaboration with colleagues at the Institute of Neuroscience and Pharmacology in Panum, Copenhagen University).
