The analysis of the structure of a protein is in many ways important. The functional properties of a protein is especially dependent of its 3D structure, which forms when certain sequences folds together and as a whole give its 3D structure. By combining the prediction of local structural properties this can give a better understanding of the of 3D structure and help in the prediction of this. In my project I am going to predict some of these local structural properties where for example two can be mentioned; Surface accessibility, which is a measure of how exposed the amino acid is on the surface of the protein, and Beta-turns which is a type of loop that the amino acids can make.
