I am PhD in food microbiology and am a post doc fellow at the National Food Institute in the Bacterial ecophysiology and biotechnology group.
I work with the food borne human pathogenic bacterium Listeria monocytogenes and are describing factors of importance for virulence of the bacterium. I am using several models to investgate the virulence potential of L. monocytogenes e.g. virulence gene sequening, eukaryotic cell models and animal models.
I have the expertice in classical microbiology, PCR, gene sequencing, setup and optimize eukaryotic cell lines and animal experiments.
