Experience from work in: Norway, Belgium, Egypt, Ireland, Italy, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Iran, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia.
2002-2003: Indonesia. Acting farm manager and conduction of a training course for biological and technical managers in hatchery production of tropical marine fish in recirculation systems at Gondol Research Institute for Marine Fisheries, Bali: Marine Finfish Breeding and Farming Development Project.
2000: Iran. Supervision and conduction of a training course for technical managers of a rainbow trout farm (Onchorhynchus mykiss) in Kelardasht Province. The production was based on recirculation technologies using biological and mechanical filtration methods for waste water treatment. Established contacts between the fish meal and fish feed industries in Iran and Denmark.
1998: Egypt. Site visits and investigations of scientific and business collaboration with Egyptian institutes within aquaculture and fish handling and processing.
1996: China. Supervision and management of an eel farm (Anguilla anguilla) in the Guangdong Province. The production was based on recirculation technologies using biological - and mechanical filtration methods for waste water treatment.
1996: Denmark and China. Trainer on DANIDA training course for six months: “Environmentally Neutral Fish Production”. A fellowship for a Chinese scientist as part of a scientific and technical cooperation between China and Denmark.
1995: Denmark and Taiwan. Trainer for Taiwanese biologists in biological and technical aspects as well as disease prevention in aquaculture.
1993: Italy. Feasibility study on eel farming project and the usage of Danish fish meal in feed for eel (Anguilla anguilla).
1992: Philippines. Feasibility study on shrimp farming project and the usage of Danish fish meal for feed for shrimp (Penaeus monodon).
1991: Thailand. Feasibility study on the usage of Danish fish meal in feed for fish and shrimp.
1991: Singapore. Feasibility study on the usage of Danish fish meal in feed for fish and shrimp.
