Education

CMB educates BSc, MSc and PhD students in Biotechnology. The center offers a wide range of courses in fermentation technology, metabolic engineering and mycology along with the possibility of writing different types of exam projects.

CMB has a multidisciplinary research profile which makes the center unique. The research focuses on Metabolic Engineering, Systems Biology and Fungal Biodiversity with the view to use fungi and bacteria as cell factories for the production of bioethanol, antibiotics, enzymes, etc.
